For eligibility of admission in MFA / Advanced Diploma, 55% marks or its equivalent grade is the minimum required criteria for Admission in BFA /DIP 4year Course. If results not published of selected candidates then the candidates should collect the Confidential Reports (B.F.A./Diploma result) from the concerned authority and submit to the Principal, Kala Bhavana, before admission.
Only First Class First in B.F.A. in each specialized subject from each department/stream of Kala Bhavana (Home Institute) as Painting, Sculpture, Graphic Art (Print making), Design (Ceramic & Glass and Textile) will be entitled for the Direct Admission in MFA Course in Kala Bhavana and it is not transferable – thus, if that candidate does not avail the Direct Admission, the same would not be passed on to the next person but the same place would become the open seat.
This privilege does not apply to the Diploma Course. Diploma holders have to appear for the admission test for Advanced Diploma Course.

B. Departmental eligibility criteria and schedule of Admission tests:

Note: Applying in Department of Painting
· Candidate applying for Painting in MFA (Hons.)/Advanced Diploma should send 5 photos
(6”X4 inches) of his/her art works attested by the respective principal along with the application form. Scanned copies sent via net will not be accepted.
· On the basis of this documents a primary selection of the candidates for Painting in MFA (Hons.)/Advanced Diploma will be made and only those short listed candidates shall be called for Entrance Test (practical, theoretical & viva-voce).
· Final list of the selected candidates for Painting in MFA (Hons.)/Advanced Diploma will be displayed at the Nandan office and uploaded in the University website beside intimation individually.

Completed Application Forms for all courses under Kala-Bhavana may be downloaded from the University Web site and sent via net or submitted to the Adhyaksha, Kala Bhavana, within the stipulated date by mail.
